Carach Angren is a symphonic black metal act from the Netherlands. The band is well known for the story telling they do in their albums as well as mastering the art of adding instruments like the violin, and keyboard into their sound. The act has recently released their fifth album entitled ‘Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten’. The record was put out by the label Season of Mist and was highly regarded. Make sure to catch these guys during the show.
Children of Bodom hails from Espoo, Finland and is named after Lake Bodom which is synonymous for a triple murder that happened their many years ago. For the last 20 years the band has dominated the extreme metal scene with many classic albums such as ‘Hate Crew Deathroll’, ‘Follow The Reaper’, ‘Something Wild’, and ‘Are You Dead Yet?’. Their combination and success of combining keyboards and the harmonization of guitars has helped pave the way for many other bands.
