Editors Pick – Top 10 Rock and Metal Albums of 2017

We’ve had so many releases in rock and metal this year, some great, some ok and some bad.  Each week I am still discovering new albums, EP’s and singles from bands locally and all around the world.  There is no way to ever discover every release out there but we are trying to keep up with as many as we possibly can.

On that thought, I wanted to list what albums I felt were the Top 10 for me this year and trust me, it was not easy to decide because there were so many great releases, but these are the albums I personally felt had some extra special in them and they’ve constantly been in my playlist rotation since I first got my hands on their releases or the pre-release previews. All of these albums have reviews up on our site. We’ve linked them below along with our Top 10 Spotify Playlist so you can easily check out all of these bands.  Find someone new to enjoy or embrace something new from a band you already enjoy!

My congratulations to those who made the Top 10, amazing work on your new albums.  My apologies to those who didn’t make our Top 10, there were just so many great releases this year! So here we go…. In order my Top 10 Rock & Metal Albums of 2017 are:
