Kate Grom released her first album ‘Heroine’ in February of 2017. It has 9 tracks of easy listening, modern folk-country with a haunting feel that flows through the music that at times pulls at the listener. The vocals are strong, intentional, and have a rich tone throughout each song. The music is filled with a mixture of a pedal steel guitar, acoustic guitar, flowing tempos and the twanging of traditional country music topped off with a modern spin for music listeners of today but speaks to listeners all across the country music spectrum.
I find a truthful authentic feel in this album and with the artist that listeners can easily connect to that brings in the feel of Americana.
Kate Grom released her own version of the Christmas classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” last month. It’s kept that traditional feel of Christmas music while infusing it with the country flare.
I had a chance to chat with Kate about the music, her sound, where she came from and where she’s headed. This is an artist I truly feel has something special to add to today’s country music scene and I am really looking forward to what she does next. So take a listen to Kate’s music which is linked below and check out our interview posted below and get to know this amazing new artist!
