As many of you know, Saxon has a new album coming out on February 2, 2018 called ‘Thunderbolt’. I’ve previewed the new album and it is a banger! Classic British Heavy Metal lives on strong thanks to bands like Saxon. I recently had the opportunity to chat with the one and only Biff Byford, frontman and vocalist of Saxon.
We chat about the new music that includes the guest appearance of Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth. Then the tribute song to Motorhead that’s also their new video that’s coming out on January 22nd. I also got Biff‘s thoughts on music today. What a great chat with one of the pioneers in metal music!
Saxon is set to tour North America with Judas Priest and Black Star Riders in March. Get your tickets today and make sure to grab a copy of ‘Thunderbolt’ when it releases next month, it’s one hell of a solid metal album!
