In Stockholm last month I sat down to get to know Cobra Cult ahead of their performance with NEMIS (New Music In Sweden) at Sweden Rock Festival in June 6, 2019. I chat with Thomas Jonsson and Johanna Lindhult about their music, the band, influences, and their upcoming gig.
This is a band with a really fun raw, punk, stoner rock mix to their sound. It’s pure unadulterated rock. Go discover this band and their sound.
Included in this interview are three tracks from their 2018 self-titled CD ‘Cobra Cult’. The intro is from “No Friend Of Mine” then the first track in the middle of the interview is “In The Zone (Again)” and the track leading out of the interview is “Let Your Hair Down”.
