Daze of Summer Band #22: Cocky Bitches
Day 22 brings us to Cocky Bitches. Austin, Texas… is keeping up with their long-time slogan, Keep Austin Weird. It comes through loud and clear with the Cocky Bitches.
This Psychedelic Blues Rock band delivers some intense music that’s not for the faint of heart music listener. Being a project that has members from the Butthole Surfers and Cold, one shouldn’t be surprised that this music pushes the realms of what is normal straight out. It’s weird, a bit eclectic, shocking and strangely, good. It’s definitely not something you expect to come across every day and even if you protest to it, upon a second listen it grows on you.
So with this artist, I say… test your boundaries and give it a shot.
The Cocky Bitches:
Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers): Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Programming
Sam McCandless (Cold): Drums
