Jason Bieler has a new solo release coming out tomorrow that is project coined as Jason Bieler and the Baron Von Bielski Orchestra.

The album “Songs For The Apocalypse” is an all-star piece of work that includes some of the most notable names around like Todd LaTorre (Queensryche), Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), Devin Townsend, Pat Badger (Extreme), Butch Walker (ex-Marvelous 3), Bumblefoot (Sons of Apollo), Clint Lowery (Sevendust), Benji Webbe (Skindred), Kyle Sanders (Hellyeah) and more in this collaborative album.

There’s so much going that music lovers are going to be challenged to catch everything that is happening in each track. It’s rock, it’s metal and it’s definitely progressive. There’s also an atmospheric feel to the style of the vocals that provides a “trippy” vibe to the music. It’s not the typical album release fans will expect, but just seeing Devin Townsend’s name in the recording line up all fans should expect this album is something out of this world.

Fans will get a mix of instruments that include guitar, bass, drums, organs, keyboards, and soundscapes. There’s funky off timing in the drum tempos, almost a chugging sound the the guitars and hypnotic keyboards scattered throughout.

When asked about the record, Jason will only say that “it will NOT be my heaviest record yet, but it will feature a bunch of friends and musicians I love and respect. It should sound something like if NEUROSIS got stuck in a blizzard at a Wawa with SUPERTRAMP, then JELLYFISH showed up and they all decided to do Barry Manilow covers in the style of MESHUGGAH, but in waltz time with slight country underpinnings…yet accessible for the masses.”

I’d say this album would fall in line with the classics from Pink Floyd because it is so different. Check it out every where you stream music January 22nd.
